“Having always been magpie I decided to try and make my own jewellery and started learning by completing a silversmithing course at bristol school of arts 7 years ago. My real passion is for glass beads and has been ever since I was a little girl. After a trip to italy I was inspired and had lessons with a local lamp bead worker in bristol and became immediately obsessed! I have my own studio where I make all my beads and then use them with beautiful silver beads, charms and findings sourced from all around the world to make my ububoo bracelets. The beauty of the bracelets are they are totally unique and you will never see the same one twice. I take my inspiration from anything from pretty fabrics to a memory of a beautiful beach and love using colour combinations that tell a story and by adding silver leaf and wire to the glass I get interesting effects. Its wonderful to work with so much possibility for effects, colour and shape."

Ububoo’s jewellery is available through Pirates and Roses in Clifton Village.
